• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Hi Everyone,

REF Flightsim2020

First time on the forum but have been a flightsimer for years. The company I work for want their manufacturing complex made better than the current Ai modeled texture. I am tasked with finding a developer that can do this, (this will be a paid gig). Future expansion of the complex is also happening in the near future so this will be required going forward also. I'm not sure what skills are required for doing this, but a 3d version of the site will be required and also as a side note the site is on a hill so a knowledge of the existing scenery of flightsim and how to place these models will be needed Furthermore, there is a windfarm nearby, however some turbines are only dictated by a shadow on the ground from the default scenery.
we would like to start moving fast on this. Side note, I know good scenery when I see it, it will not have to be super detailed but a decent job all the same :) and run smooth in flightsim.:cool:

Hi Mark,

I am a long time flightsimmer like you, well, maybe 8 years, I'm 23.
In the last 4 or so years I've became hooked on making scenery for X plane 11.
Although I have struggled a lot to create my first airport in FS20, I think I have learned a lot from it.
I would love to give your project a try.
