• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Hello,
First of all, I am new to FSDeveloper, so I apologize if this is in the incorrect location.

I am trying to create a client for members to use to do numerous things with in my multiplayer flying server. It will be similar to that of ivao/vatsim, and hoping to have similar properties. I have 3 goals for it to be able to do.

The first one is to be able to connect to the server. A button sends you straight into the server into their ip.

The second is for sending flightplans. The idea is that you can fill in the designated boxes with the details. This flightplan is then sent off to a http location within the site.

Last of all, is the traffic pack, enabling members to see one anothers aircraft. This is the biggest headache. I want the aircraft to be remotely located in the servers FTP (File Transfer Protocal) which is like a back ally to the server. This will prevent the members systems from clogging up. The member should be able to select their aircraft type then livery. When this process is done, it is then linked to the exact aircraft on the FTP. Other members will now be able to see their aircraft.

It all probably sounds too intense, but please, absoultly anything relevent will be much appreciated!

Thank-you and I hope you can help.
Jonathan
