• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Hello everyone,
I'm new here, I just installed ModelConverterX on my computer, when I opened it I noticed that part of the screen is black when it should normally be blue, maybe I did something wrong?
Thank you very much and happy holidays
Quentin

Hi,

By default it should he blue indeed, but maybe the settings are modified. Can you check in the options which color is set for the background?

Hello,
Thanks for the answer, is the color in Options and Renderer Settings?

Yep, but I see that there the color is blue as expected. What happens if you try to load a model?

I unfortunately have the same problem, I have already installed several times and another previous version and always the same thing before it worked correctly

Did you install the development release or the stable release 1.7?

If both have this behaviour, could it be something changed on your system, for example an update of the graphics card drivers?

What kind of graphics card do you have? MCX uses OpenGL for the rendering.

If it happens in both versions I suspect it is something on the machine and not a bug in the tool.

ok, i think it also comes from the computer, because before it worked very well

I have a similar AMD card in my laptop (besides the NVidia card that is also in there). I just forced Windows to use the AMD card, but MCX still shows fine here.

I just forced windows to do the same thing as you and it works now Thank you very much for your help :)
