FSXA puzzeling model error

haveing a strange problem with a model i'm working on which is puzzeling the heck outa me. It seems as though the fuse is offset, shrank or summing. I've tried resetting xform on all parts, clicking the transform and scale buttons on all parts, resetting all the pivots.

Heres a shot of the problem:

in game, notice the hole running around the canopy padding:

in max:

Any ideas

nothing in the opacity map, and non of the textures have any alpha.

Heres another shot showing the overall problem, all the black bits are the interior sturcture, which in max is all within the fuse, but in fsx its moved  you can see where the fuse was in max if you look at the left elevator wires as you can see where the AO was baked doesnt match up.

Stiz,

Have you seperated the polygons from the edge that makes the cutout interior? I wonder if its from the right angle turn going into the fuselage opening.

I have seen this happen on landing gear openings (not with disappearing polygons though, but bizzarro shading), so I detach the interior polygons from the exterior surface and everything is back to ok again.

I hate it when poly's misbehave..

well solved it by attaching it to another part which uses the same material ... why is it always the most simpleist thing that works :banghead:
