• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

RemoveTerraBuilder Mesh Module

I thought I'd try this but when I unistalled, It still seems to be lurking some where in my files. It pops up whenever I start gmax and won't let me start a new file with out opening an old one first, then deleting the data and renaming it.

I tried to reinstall and then unistall thru add/remove programs but no luck. I've also tried to go thru all the gmax folders and delete anything that looks terrabuilder related. Is there a file somewhere that doesn't have a name that begins with "tb...." that I'm missing or perhaps the installer has placed a file outside of gmax that I'm unaware of.

This does not affect the use of gmax but is rather a nuissance as I have to go thru a couple of extra steps to get started.

Tahnks for any help on this.

Hi,

I had the same problem, but I can't remember how I solved it.

(I don't even remember how long ago I had this problem, so it might also be that my HD crash of last year solved it for me :)).

Hi!

If it starts with Gmax I think it must be configured as a startup plugin. Check the gmax.ini-file in the Gmax/Gamepacks/FS2004 folder, or the plugin configuration inside of Gmax itself. Or post more info! :)
