Hello all.
I wasnt doing anything with the SDK etc for the last 2 months and i tried to search but different answers come up. So i ask here.
The last time i did google maps object downloads i used RenderDoc to capture and import to Blender. Is this still a way to do it (for personal use)? I ask this because i canot seem to make it work anymore, RenderDoc doesnt show me the ID anymore.
I saw in the Github repo in the issues list that the dev said something about that it would be illegal and that is the reason it doesnt work? It could be very well be that i misinterpret that post.
All other topics about this are old so i dont know, what is the way ppl do it nowadays?
Are there other ways? Maybe with Bing Maps? It doesnt have to be google. Maybe i search wrong but everything i try leads me to old renderdoc tutorials. And that doesnt seem to work anymore.
Looking at flightsim.to where every week another city/object with photogrammetry is released there have to be ways still.
Any help would be great.
