I am trying assist a friend in compiling a simple ground texture for FSX. I have compared his inf file and the required bitmaps and see nothing wrong. I've compared his inf to one of mine with similar bitmaps (Fa, Wi, Sp, N, etc). everything looks correct. . .despite that when I drop the inf on the resample utility it flashes on the screen and is gone.
I downloaded CompileHelper and set the path for bglcomp and resample, but when I drop the inf file on the executable I get this:
The file C:\Users\ejwel\Desktop\Resample\Argentia\Photo01.INF is of an unsupported file type. If you think this type should be supported, please report so at the FSDeveloper forum.
The short manual on the compilehelper states that you should drop the "source" file on the executable. . . .isn't the inf file considered a source file?
