Hi there!
My ambition is to create car traffic in both directions on a 2 lane road, i.e. one lane for each direction. Like a common Scandinavian (or US country) highway. I manage to create the FWX files and the traffic follows my RDX roads perfectly in the sim. However, they either drive in the middle of my 2 lane road, causing "head on collisions" (se attatched pic) whenever they meet, or if I say they should use 2 lanes (in the dbf that goes with the shp) the cars travel properly in the lanes but both direction uses both lanes!
I have tried so many combinations (2 lane RDX, 1 lane FWX using "B" as in bothways, 2 lane RDX, 2 lane FWX using "F" and "F" as in forward on a forward and a reversed FXW) that I have now run out of alternatives. I even started to doubt if its possible to make traffic in both directions on a two lane road (read 2 lanes in total!). The RDX (road) surface files can have either "divided" or "undivided" median. Which should I use. I have tried both without acheiving my goal.
Can't find much on this in FSX documentation, so I'll be very greatful for any help out there.
Cheers,
Ingolf
