• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Scenery Editor changes do not apply

Im trying to modify somethings on an airport that i have created but even if a save changes and build the project, new mods do not appear

you have to look at the console log, it should tell you where is the problem. The problematic part is most likely somewhere around the end of the log, maybe a bit further up. Thre have to be errors that should hint to the issue.

Just a tip, i dont want to sound like the police here ^^: You have to give way more information when request help for a problem with the SDK. I think there are some guidelines here in the forum somewhere, on how a post should look. We cannot help you with such a short post, there could be a dozen of reasons.

Oh, sorry about that, ill take it into account. So, ive tried to read all the errors but i cant find why this happens. I load the project into the editor and everything is perfect but when i move the packages folder into the community folder, it seems like it opens an older version of the project and the issues i wanted to fix did not save. This are some of the errors that appear in the console

that is the top though. The problem is that it anyway is showing errors, also hundreds of them where the source/reason isnt your scenery. Depends on what is installed and on the plane loaded etc. So we have to filter it somehow to make the problematic entries appear. As one can see on the tiny scrollbar in your pic and the message counter you get over 3k entries.

Also, what i say now is just what i experience myself on my project, dont quote me on it pls ^^ The first build the console always has way too many entries so i would filter it by clicking at least the messages "button" to blend those out. Or clear the log with the rubber button and build again. The real problems usually appear on the last part of the whole log, so you would have to scroll down. Also the consistent, scenery related problems will remain on the second build.

Sadly im not sure if there are runway related errors (like your pic shows) that are always appearing on a build with an airport with runway or not, so this one the more experienced guys would have to answer.

But what i would do now is this:

Build the project once, clear the log and build again. This second builds log you can copy&paste into a textfile (maybe its even roaming around somewhere in the project folder, i dont know...) and post here.
