• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Scenery not showing up

Ok, so I've overcome the myraid of compilation problems and FSX planner finally compiles successfully my scenery. Oh, incidentally, all I want to do is expand the parking apron and add a few more parking into my home airport. Placed the file in Addon Scenery folder etc and added new scenery area in FSX, but nothing shows up differently in FSX. Can anyone suggest what may be wrong?

And oh if anyone wants to have a go at it and send it over to me, the airport is TLPC. Please expand the parking ramp about 50m to the west and add as many more parking spaces as possible maybe 3, as the default scenery only has 2 and AI traffic disappear on landing because they have nowhere to park. :( Thanks!

If you attach the bgl file to a post then perhaps we can also look at the file.
 
This one certainly works. Made with ADE rather than FSX Planner but there is no reason why yours should not work so please post it :)

Ok thanks so much for replying! I didn't think anyone would actually try out making it. Lol!

As I only have internet access at work I'll have to go home and grab it and post it later. I'll try out the scenery and give some feedback.

Okay here it is. And I was just wondering if I figured out the problem. Could it be the file name with that dot in the middle? :D

BTW your file was perfect. Just what I wanted. No more disappearing AI even after I've added more airlines to the airport. Thanks! Would've liked to do it myself though so I could work on a few more things.
