• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

If I've learned anything from hanging around here over the years, it's how you guys insist on doing things correctly and have no patience for sloppiness. Have you seen the payware Shrike Sabre? I thought it was great until I went to do a livery for it. The modeling is a train wreck and I've tried to communicate with them in a simple, calm, coherent manner, and sent these and other pictures to demonstrate, but they'll have none of it. Their product is perfect and I don't know what I'm talking about. They in fact said " we can not offer you support.." I'm so tired of seeing all these great reviews for the Sabre, and they keep on selling it, but they have the worst customer service, and some very unskilled modelers working for them. I'd appreciate some backup on this if anyone would be willing to explain to them the problems with making models like this, and selling them! They need to hear from real modellers, artists, I'm just a nobody to them, even though I've given them my money, I have no opinion.

The usual solution is to just make a better one.

Well I've spoken up. Maybe I'm not going to gain any popularity about it or get any support. But I did the right thing. Buyer beware.
