• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

Hello, I would like to know that I have to install to be able to create a software for fsx.

Software will be used to send data user of the pilot on fsx directly on my site to be able to use the livemap.

My software builds up to itself with visual studio, and of the simconnect.

I found the scripts simconnect which I have to use here but when I bring in his scripts in visual studio he put me full of error.

Hi,

Using SimConnect you should indeed be able to get data from FSX while it is running, like the aircraft position. It would then be up to the application that you write to send it to your website.

What kind of errors do you get?
 
Hello, I do not remember any more errors exactly but has my opinion it needs codecs or sdk to be able to use simconnect on visual studio.

I have to format thus I have to reinstall everything what you advise me to install as visual studio to be able to create my software and under which extension I have to create her (example: jav, c ++, vb)

Hi,

The SimConnect SDK comes with examples in C++ and C#, so if you are using any of those two langunages it is probably easiest to take an example and adjust it to your needs.

But to be able to create a software with simconnect it is necessary added the sdk or ddl in the bookshop of visual studio?
