[SOLVED] UUEE NO JETWAYS

Hi Jeff, I posted this on the Drzewiecki forum, but Stanislaw said it was a SODE issue!!

I had UUEE working well, including all jetways. Then I installed Moscow X, and maybe by coincidence, I lost the visuals and use of the jetways at UUEE. This of course could have been some thing else I did...

To try and resolve the issue, I removed the version of SODE I had(1.4.10), and re-downloaded version 1.4.1 from your site. Installed it, with the result saying, SODE REGISTERED/SODE ACTIVE. When I loaded Moscow Sheremetyevo X FSX, the buildings were all there, but no jetways connected to them.
To make sure, I turned up all the sliders to make sure maximum object generation happens..
I will send a log file later.
Regards
Geoff

Here is the error log file for the above post.

Can you send me that UUEE_X.sdx file per PM? I think the issue is buried there within...

Hi Jeff,

I decided to get back to basics and removed both UUEE X and Moscow X and start again. Even though I removed Mocow X, UUEE jetways would still not appear. When I removed Moscow X and UUEE I made sure that all loose files were also removed (used a tool called, 'search everything' to find all associations of UUEE and Moscow X) There were lots of stray files left.

I did a reinstall of UUEE, and let it go to your site on SODE. And installed SODE and registered it, making it active....the jetways all worked again....

Questions:

The jetways on the menu do not care if an aircraft is in the gate or not. You select any or all, and they swing out?

No check for A/C at gate?

Jetway not interested in finding the exit door?

Some jetways do not slide out to lengthen themselves? I suppose it is because they were not looking for a door?

I loaded Moscow X. as per Drzewiecki installer and the UUEE jetways were there and working..OK.

They decided to use fixed animations for the jetways at UUEE. At that time, the fully dynamic SODE jetway system didn't exist.
That new system was used for EPWA and all the newer sceneries from them.
So at UUEE they are just fixed animations to some predetermined point in space triggered by the user, completely ignoring the user aircraft position. They never updated the jetways there into fully dynamic SODE jetways.
