Hello guys,
I am working on a plugin/modification to control and monitor multiple unmanned aircrafts (or UAVs) at the same time. In order to control these UAVs I’m looking for a way to change the “aircraft in use” to another aircraft within the same simulation instance.
So for example, we have 3 UAVs and other traffic in one simulation instance and I want to monitor all 3 UAVs. That’s already possible by reading the simulation parameters of the UAVs (like position, altitude, heading, etc.).
Now I want to implement a functionality to take control of one of the UAVs. So my question is: Do you know of any way to do that? Is there a plugin/mod for this already? Or is this already possible and I didn’t know of it?
As for now, I’m not limited to a specific flight simulator. I’m considering X-Plane, FlightGear and FSX as possible simulators. At the moment it is more a question of the general possibility than the implementation in a specific flight simulator.
I’m glad for any help.
Thank you!
