Hi
Project coming along OK but having an issue with my texture. The textures show up on all the parts in the FSDS Perspective View but when I compile in BGL only the roof and one wall displays the texture. In addition with the one wall showing .. the other side does not show and it is the same part.

I am only using the 1 texture file and it is in the correct folder.

Need some help in figuring this one out please :)
Best
Vern

Hi Vern

In FSDS if you check the box to add a night texture, make sure that you make and add one to the correct texture folder for the game.

Texture for FSDS something like this (Vern_texture_01) and then the night texture (Vern_texture_01_LM )

You only need to apply the first one in FSDS but FSX or FS9 needs both

And if you don't you will get an invisible wall or whatever.

If I have it right---- You chose a texture and check the box for night (_LM) but forgot to make an _LM copy.

In FS9 FS looks for that _LM... can't find it and says- oh well, and continues.

IN FSX IT looks for the_LM, can't find it and says- harumph! no _LM? Well I'll be - I ain't gonna show that texture at all..... so there!" Bob

Thanks Bob .. that was part of the problem. The other was .. I use Paint Shop Pro 7 to create textures and I suspect there might be an issue with it and Windows 7 but not sure. Anyway Farfy ran my texture thru his paint program and it now works.

Yep - I have PSP 10 and I almost know how to open it! :)

Anyway- learning it takes quite some time. There is even a class and manual in a high school where I subbed a few years ago!

Don't know why FSDS does that. Sometimes I forget and have to go back and dump the first bmp to get FSDS to "see" the new one. gotta love it I guess. Bob
