Hi all.
When you make a texture for FSX Objects or for aircraft and other and you used directx 10.....then you must make the textures at DDS 5 Format with Alpha.
The extended Textures in BMP at DX 3 to 5 are for FS9 / FSX without directx 10, The fs9 used directx 9 !
When you imported an Aircraft from FS9 to FSX, and you have run directx 10, then you see a white Aircraft modell and Obejcts.
Switch to directx 9 and the fsx shows the textures.
Okay.....let us make our new Objects and Aircraft with dds DX 5 Textures and we can used directx 10.
When i have run fsx with vers. 9 then the frames rate less about between 10 and 20. With Version 10 runs the fsx at my machine abouve 50 Frames when all FSX settings to 100 %.
Thats at my machine the fact.

ULI

PS.
The FSX flickering comes to, from directx 10 with extended DX 3-5 Textures !
Switch to directx 9 at FSX and all shows normal without flickering.
