FSX Throttle Control Example

Hello All. I am just getting started with the FSX SDK so mostly I have just been playing around with the examples. I have the SDK installed and I have been compiling the examples in Microsoft Visual C++ 2010. I played around with the Cockpit Camera example and got it to interface with a microcontroller I have to let it control the camera. It worked great, so I figured I would take another one of the examples and try to modify it as well.

I started trying to work on the Throttle Control example, and found that though it compiles and runs. It has no effect in game. When it starts up, it is supposed to get the current throttle position and echo it to the console. All it echos is "Received:2". I tried the precompiled exe that came in the example folder and the same thing happens.

When I run the application from Visual C++ in debug mode I get a bunch of warnings that the application fails to open DLL's. I could paste a list of them here if it would help.

I thought I followed the install instructions closely. All the versions match up, and the tools menu shows in game (though I have not used it for anything). Not sure what I missed that is making it fail to find all those files.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
