• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

Can you show me how to add a transparent cabin/passenger window
with the help of photoshop and or paintshop?
I have cabin pictures . And I would like to make the windows

transparent. How to get the black ,transparent background? (see attached example)

Hi,

You need to add an alpha channel and export as DXT1. The part which is invisible (window) will need to be black and the rest would need to be pure white.

Then use a tool like DXTBmp and load up the passenger window, then add the Alpha channel, then save as Extended Bitmap DXT1.

That should do it.
