• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

I am assuming that the side facing the front is the one you mean. If so, then you should know that the inside of the box or boxes that make up the tall building are see-through - there are no textures on them and you cannot put textures on them either unless you make another duplicate box or boxes and flip the polygons. Boxes you make in FSDS have 6 sides all facing outwards. The insides are not used and therefore if you were to go inside the box you can see outside very easily.
Hope this helps.

The only thing I wanna do is to resize this giant box in a shadow to put under jetways box, can you simply tell me how to make this without erasing all what's behind ?

1.In FSDS you can scale in 1 direction using the Transform Menu. This will mean reducing the 'Y' from 1 to say 0.5 to make it half as tall.
2.Other than that you could select the tall building and then in 'Point Mode' choose all the top points, either in the 'back' view or 'right' view windows. Select the 'arrow' (Move Mode)on the tool bar and click on x and z to constrain them. Then move the top points down until the are at the height you want.

I know how to place Sceneries, I've made the entire terminal myself, All I want to know is why does my shadow erase all what's behind
