Visibility condition not working(?)

Hello guys,

I'm using MCX development release, 3ds max 9 and working (for now) for FSX.
I'm trying to do a Scenery object with visibility condition but for some reason it doesn't work. Okay, here are the steps I follow:

First, I edit the modeldef.xml. This is the condition I'm trying to set, when I have the transponder on 5500 (which correspond to 21760 on BCO16 code) then the scenery object will appear.
so I know this is the correct code (and work for .mdl format so I suppose for .bgl format too):
Code:
<PartInfo>
    <Name>custom_vis_evento_1</Name>
    <Visibility>
      <Parameter>
        <Code>
        (A:TRANSPONDER CODE:1,BCO16) 21760 ==
       </Code>
      </Parameter>
    </Visibility>
 </PartInfo>

After that, I attach with "AttachPointTool" the object in 3dsMax which I want to have this visibility condition and export it on .x file.

Then I open it with MCX, checked the "object hierarchy" and yes, It have the condition attached. Checked the option "Show ModelDef.xml" to see the code of the condition is added.
Okay, I'll test this exporting first as a .mdl format, and .. YES! only when I switch to 5500 the .mdl appear!
And here is the problem, when I try to export it as a .bgl (scenery format) then I don't know what happen with condition but it doesn't work, the object always appear ...

Any suggestion? or I'm confused because it's impossible to have "visibility condition" on scenery objects?

Hi,

Visibility conditions don't work for MDL objects placed in BGL files. They only work if you place your object through SimConnect as a SimObject.
