• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

Your process sounds ok. Only the round earth input is not needed, I don't think your mdl files are corrected for the round earth.
I've installed the GSX for my FSX. As you know, when the weather is rainy, the canopy of the Staircase will appear. But when it is a sunny day, the Staircase without canopy.
So my question is: what I need to do to let the Staircase with canopy, no matter what the weather is?
Thank you!

Hi,

I guess these objects have a visibility condition applied to them. That should be something you can check in the hierarchy editor.

So I guess you need to remove that conditions (which you can do in the hierarchy editor as well) to let it appear all the time.

Thank you, arno. But in the toolbar, I just find the Object hierarchy, and it can't edit the hierarchy, so can you tell me how to find the hierarchy editor? Thank you again.

Thank you very much, arno! You've helped me solve a big problem. But I need to trouble you again. Just two questions.
1. As the picture 1 shows, the movement distance of the staircase's sideboard is too short, as you know, it will lead to the passengers fall down in reality. So how to make the sideboard move to the location which is pointed by red arrow?

2. The picture 2 is the GSX Followme car, the picture 3 is my new Followme car. So I want to use the model of my new Followme car to replace the model of the GSX Followme car, can it come true?

Thank you again! Best Regards!!!!

Hi,

I'm not so familiar with how GSX works, so I don't know how to change models in there. Hopefuly some other developer here can tell you that.

The first problem should like you want to alter the animation. That is not something that MCX can do. That is something that could only be done in the original modelling tool.
