Another thing that I do not know if we can do is create a texture Water class tool, along the coast to eliminate photorrealistas textures of the ocean, I can say as they do?

Thank you

Thanks for the help,
I understand what needs to be done, but not as is.

As editing files to paint it black and white what?.
In TmfViewer, I can only view the BGL but not as editing software and with that, and after that as I return to compile them in BGL.

what is not, as it draws the image of BGL, editing in Photoshop and how you compile again in BGL

Hi,
it would be grateful if you could inform me as you do your time. No matter who is a complicated task. Today do not in any way, then any aid that is complicated would be welcome.
A greeting and thanks for your time .-

Francisco .-

I shall explain.
I run SbuilderX, preferences put Yahoo Satellite.
I'm going to coordendas I'm interested in and select the Menu/View/ Background Show, which is already charged me ls Satellite images from Yahoo.

Pulse right button and select Backgroun and in the window that appears select "Copy BGL file to BGL folder" + Compile.

Then I created the file BGL, and a folder in C: \ Program Files \ SBuilderX \ Tiles \ YahooSatellite images are stored in JPG format.

From here is no longer that I need to do more.

If I use pictures of your C: \ Program Files \ SBuilderX \ Tiles \ YahooSatellite who are in JPG format, when the office again in two Sbuilder: "photo.JPG and photo_B.tiff."
If I use foto.JPG image is not calibrated.

Not from where they pick your photos or if it is done well as I do.
I can clarify what?

Thank you for your time.

Hi, thank you very much for your explanation, I was perfectly clear and finally I've succeeded. I thank you that I clarify these issues since fighting took hours to SbuilderX and was not able to go it alone.

Did everything as we went out and explain everything perfect.

A greeting and again thank you very much

Hi meshman,
I served much your help and thank you so. Already managing half the sbuilder well, I have trouble with only a few black lines that appear in areas of union of the images and not yet as solves.

My question is this:

As is done in the SBuilder 2.06 for FS9, to clear the area of ocean is in the picture and image to follow the contours of the coastline.

Cree shoreline but still appears as seen below .-

Thanks .-

What do i do in order to get the map into SbuilderX, File/Add Map/From Disk/ ?

I import the map that way, calibrate it but then how do i compile it, i click it and select compile but the menu doesn't select anything to compile ?

Any help is really appreciated.

Hi,

Once you have the map on the display and calibrated, click (with care) with the right mouse on one of the borders of the map to get access to its properties (the care is to avoid any moving it and loss the calibration). In the Properties window there is a note that tells you to give a name starting by PHOTO if I remember well. Maps that have a name starting with those 5 letters will be interpreted as a map from which to generate a photo scenery. Note that maps can be add to the working panel for different purposes. For example they can be used as a positioning template for object placement.

After giving the right name to the map, the Compile "will work" if, as always, you select (left clicking on the edge or using the Select menu) the map before compiling.

Best Regards, Luis

Ok, done all that, called it Photo01, then compiled, it gives me the option of ''Photo Scenery'' clicked compile though there is no .bgl generated ?

Any clues please Luis, i appreciate the advice!

Hello,

BGLs are generated in the ../Tools/Work folder. They can be copied to the target folder (that must be active in the FSX Scenery Library) and, of course, must be set through the project properties (right click an empty part of the display to get access to these properties).

If your experience with SBuilderX is in the starting phase, I suggest that you do things manually at the beginning (like the copying the BGLs). Later you can do it more automatically.

Best Regards,

Luis

Just re-compiled, its not created a .BGL anywhere though Luis, its only created a .INF file in the Work folder, but no .BGL ?

Hi,

The next thing I would do was to get that INF and try to use it with resample.exe in a msdos window. Then you will be able to see the error report and take the required actions.

Best Regards, Luis

Hi,

I would type resample myinffile.inf in a msdos window. Before that I would put the source image file in a "proper location" or would change the directive in the inf file that points to it. The idea is to be able to read the warnings that the resample produces.

Regards, Luis

So if i went, Run typed CMD and brought that up i would need to type in resample myinffile.inf ? Doesn't seem to work, how do i bring up an Msdos window ?

Thanks
