• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

MSFS20 Weird white and gray textures for paint lines

So I am making a line that I want to be curved so I use the true angle none but this happens. It doesn't happen when I turn true angle to all_points but I would prefer not to do that because I want the line to be curved not just a bunch of straight lines. Any help?

True angle is the contrary of what you want, it creates a line with segments

Convert point to spline, then the magic of geometric happens

And remember, the less point you use, the mode perfect the curve will be

What do you mean by convert the point to spline?

oh sorry I've seen the Apron selected and tough you were talking about that one
about the grey texture, they look like to be coming from the material of the taxiway path (the line between 2 taxiway points),
make sure the all have the same width in the properties

or simply make them invisible by disabling draw surface (because you already have and apron and a painted line, you most likely don't want them to show)

The grey and white textures are coming from the middle lines which are separate from the taxi paths and point because I hate using the taxi paths to make taxiways and lines. It seems that if you adjust the points it will fix itself. Don't know why it happens but it just doesn't like the points in some places. Fixed it now thanks.
