• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

The obvious - check your part/object axis. Is that part/object axist for the rudder aligned to world (assuming you're using gmax)

Gmax is being used yes!
Sorry, Where can i 'align' to the world?
And can you suggest a prblem with the front wheel?

To check pivot point alignmnet, select the part, go to the hierarchy tab, click on "affect pivot only" and click on "Align to World".

First check the pivot points on the nose wheel part(s) as well.

Thank's,
I will give that a try!
Do you know of a tutorial to make the prop turn?
Best Regard's

You are catching me in a late afternoon, I want to go home time... my first reaction...

A Hucks starter on the back of an old Ford Model T truck....

BUT.. the basic steps are the same as for any animation - use the animation tool to associate your prop part to the appropriate animation (prop0_still) tag. In gmax, animate the prop to have a key frame 0 degrees at key frame 0, then a 90 degree rotation at each of key frames 25-50-75-100.

Since I don't model with gmax, the above is a greatly simplified version of the steps.

...and remember to use the Attachpoint Tool to mark the part with the appropriate <Visibility> condition: prop0_still, prop0_slow and prop0_blurred.
