• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Has Anybody flown over Washington DC? I can't believe they did such a poor job, like they did it on a friday afternoon and couldn't wait to go home. Doe's anyone know of a fix for this or is someone working on one? You would think that MS would have done a lot better considering the work they did to other City's. Oh! while I'm at it,:D:D:D:D Is there anyone doing a fix for the Big Island of Hawaii?(photo texture?) Kialua-Kona is so Wrong as to be missing.:mad::mad: There are No homes around the K-K Airport. So many misplaced towns and lava flows that are missing. I would do it myself:D:D but I have a hard enough time with aircraft design. Ahhh! nothing like getting stuff off your chest.:rolleyes:
Oh! I Double dare anyone to try and fix the Island.:D:D:D

FS Dreamteam is working on the Hawaiian island airports, with Honolulu already released and Lihue and Hilo in the works;

Photo scenery will probably never be fully done for the islands, because the clouds keep getting in the way! What has been done so far, Molokai and Maui is a repackaged offering of satellite imagery found in Google or Bing. Clouds included!

Work is being done to develop full scope imagery of the islands, with a twist. Rather than the work being contracted by the U.S. Government and them holding ownership, it's being done privately and the U.S. must purchase licensing rights. Which do not grant the government the ability to redistribute or disseminate in any shape or form.


Any no one want to see Kona done because of the VOG!!! BTW, you misspelled Kailua-Kona.

Are you talking about Newport Scenery? What do you mean, it's repackaged Google/Bing... are there not licensing issues with that?

EDIT: hmm, I just checked and you're right. Their Maui scenery is mostly Bing satellite imagery manipulated to remove clouds and such.
