In the past it has been asked what the license is for the articles and tutorials put on the Wiki. Unfortunately we have not explicitly specified that until now, but we want to change this situation.
So therefore we are proposing the apply the Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 3.0 license to the Wiki content.
Simply said this means that others can adapt the articles and share them with others, as long as attribution is given and the work is shared under the same license.
The non-commercial part is something we are not completely sure about yet. We would like to prevent people from selling all those nice articles and tutorials, but it should be allowed to use the knowledge described in them in commercial projects. If there are any lawyers around please correct us if the selected license does not cover that.
For all the current content on the Wiki this license change means that the authors of the articles will have to agree to this change. So anyone who does not agree, please let us know. Else we will apply the selected license to the Wiki from November 1st 2009.
Any other thoughts or feedback are also welcome of course,
