Hello,
I've been using the Tile System Tool since it was originally released, for use with aerial images in MSFS. Unfortunately, I am unable to open images over 300 something MB in it (Which I have reported on the thread over at the official MSFS forums).
I can split the imagery up in SASPlanet or Global Mapper to bypass this, however I commonly have been running into an issue where a number of the tiles will share the same name. This is because both source images will overlap this one tile, but as there are two sources, a tile with transparency is produced.
Has anyone experienced this and found a way to prevent or efficiently correct it? If it were a small coverage area, I could merge the tiles by hand, but when hundreds or thousands of tiles are affected, it's just not feasible..
