• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Hello,
we are SimTeam EDHG and this is our current project- Calvi Sainte Catherine (LFKC, CLY).
It is one of four civil airports located at the island Corse in the Mediterranean, which is also called "Ile de Beauté". Thus, it will be the first release of the Corsican Airports series we are working on.
CLY is known for it's special location in a valley close to the sea. Being really beautiful on one hand, this fact makes the airport challenging to approach on the other hand. The Approach 36 is often compared to former Kai Tak in Hong Kong because of a low altitude turn in short final.
Our AddOn will work with FSX and P3D (V1, V2). It is built to fit default scenery, FTX Global, openLC Europe as well as CorsePHOTO by France VFR.

Great looking work here -- I was hoping somebody would do this airport one day.

yes in fact it is a totally different scenery and ours is about to be released in too distant future . We started developing our Calvi scenery not knowing of anyone else being busy with it. But we thought it is worth developing it anyway and hope you like it ;-)
 
Hopefully compatible with Francevfr Nextmesh 5. I know the other Calvi from Ofx was not which made it useless to me.

Hi,
well what Nextmesh does is actually what wie did,too. We created a special (slope-) flatten scenery that fades the ugly altitude contrasts. It is based on contour lines found in FranceVFR and default mesh. Indeed We did not check NextMesh compatibility, but if you are using NextMesh or not, the Airport should fit anyway!
 
Great news, thanks. Calvi Images look beautuful and I hope we will see more Corsica airports in the future. Especially interesting is the GA airport in Propriano, hope you consider that one also.

Hi Mike, as I mentioned we are about to deliver the civil airports of Corsica. And if there's time enough and you like our work we are planning to do propriano and Corte,too. And if someone can provide good Photos of Alzitone we can consider it also.
 
I second the opinions above, it looks great. How absolut an image with photoreal background though? I will use FranceVFR Corsica for exemple so it would be nice to see how they look together.
