• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

FSXA Airbus A350 XWB

Don't forget that in real life, the windows themselves are also quite dark. It could make a big difference in the way the airplane is looking, so no need to feel sad at this stage ;)

Cheers,
Daniël

Yup, it's just painting, exporting, painting again right now.... ahh well once I got that thing done the fun work can start :P

I don't think anyone is willing to invest 700 USD in this project to be honest :p

Create a Kickstarter?
You'd have to offer benefits and compensation beyond the model though. Like early access versions of the plane or coffee mugs with your photo on them or...

Has a Kickstarter ever been created for something Flight Sim related? Would be a first...With that VC, you'd have to do systems programming however, would almost be a crime to do anything less.

I don't know of any kickstarter for a Fliht Sim related thing. I don't like the idea though, rather keep my old VC WIP... was it really that bad?

@AJ_Long , @dave hoeffgen and @Paul Domingue thanks for the very cheerfull words.
I appreciate what you're saying @TheAri but I think I'd rather model it myself then get myself in a debt one way or the other over a 3D model... I'll be alright without that model. And concidering I still haven't decided for payware or freeware, spending money on this project is really not something I'd like to do right now. I appreciate the thought though and I thank everyone for their support. But a very own VC will be worth while I think, for me personally at the very least.

Ok ;)
I was only affraid that you aren't working on it anymore because you where only posting screens of Liverys :)
You're VC looks also very good for WIP. Stick to it :)

ah sorry I should have mentioned if I don't report any progress on it that doesn't mean I'm neglecting it, I'm still working on it occasionally. But right now most progress is with exterior model.

Anyway, I got that black thing about right, only the glass material spoils it now ;)

Seems like you have a good start so far. Are you using photo or SmartCockpit references for laying out the panels? Always try to get those modeled right from the beginning so that it doesn't come back and haunt you later (like it has done to me!) With proper panels in place, everything else becomes a matter of filling in empty space.

Keep up the good work bro. If you ever hit a roadblock, don't be afraid to PM me or others here on this forum for advice. I always feel the need to give back a little of what I've learned from this community.

Thanks man! I've always been impressed by your Challenger 605, damn you've got some fine modelling goin on there!

I use an image I found in a manual about the cross-training for the A350, the image was good as it has a good perspective and a topographic view mode.
