• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

What to do with a NDB that is out of date/not in use anymore

Hi,

I'm trying recreate Northwest Regional Airport Terrace-Kitimat (CYXT) but I noticed that one of the NDB's at the airport is not in use anymore.
According to skyvector, the NDB Skeena (TB) is not listed as one of the nearby navaids, but when I load up the stock airport from the P3D scenery library, it's still there.(See the attached files)
There is no way to remove it, but I also do not want it to be available when I finished designing and compiling the airport.

What is the best way to work around this problem?

Note:
I'm using P3Dv4.5
And ADE v1.79.7475

Try use Tools> Raw Data View. Look for NDB. Delete it then close. SAve then complied. Done.

If you only delete it from the ADE file I assume the default navaid would then appear again?

I deleted NDB TB Skeena ADE9 and it is gone. It won't stay default. Maybe you forgot to remove the old AF2_CYXT.bgl off first! Before you load the FS2004 runs. ADE will read the new updated scenery file. If you leave the AF2_XXXX.bgl it will read default. You might forget to remove or rename AF2_XXXX.bak then will read your new ADE filename.
