• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

    FSX Make apron transparent/invisible

I am trying to make the test apron transparent, so you can see the photoreal ground. I need it so that dust and dirt won't fly around the wheels, but I don't wan't the apron visible. Here's a thread similar to my question. http://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/threads/fsdreamteam-invisible-apron.16210/

    FSXA Airbus A350 XWB

I just want to say that the work you've done looks very professional and think that you are a very talented designer. I had the same situation with a model of an ERJ-145 that I was working on, and reconsidered if I should continue work on it. So I decided that I'd slow down the project and only...

    FSX Make apron transparent/invisible

This question has probably been asked a couple of times, but I have not found a solution yet. I am trying to place some aprons all around the airport, generally were the taxiways are. So I finished editing the AFCAD for KRSW in ADE, and added a test apron to see if I could do this. I was told...

    Question about Istant Scenery 3

I went through the exact same thing as you. Whisplacer didn't work for me either. I tried to use many other software like ADE, but they didn't show up in the sim either, so I have settled on using the ModelConverterX convert and place object wizard. But I still wish I could place an object while...

treat fs developer as a full-time job

I agree. Though you'd probably have a lot more time to work on it when your on the job, you'd probably will enjoy working on it a whole lot more. :scratchchBut full-time doesn't sound to bad if it paid.

    NexGen Simulations ERJ-145LR/XR

Yay!:) You don't know how excited I am to see you building the ERJ-145. I started work on one of these a few months ago, but have not made much progress. I'm thinking of shutting down the project. It might just be me but I feel that there hasn't been enough work on small regional aircraft then...

    Düsseldorf Airport

I don't live any where near Dusseldorf, but I have flown in and out of there a few times. I think the observation deck is running and will continue to run in the future, but I'm not sure. It says that it closes at 7 PM and you can't get in 30 Minutes before it closes. He's a page that might...

    P3D v3 Which 3D modeling tools work with P3D?

I myself am planning on getting P3D soon. I know ModelConverterX supports P3D, and Airport Design Editor X, and I think SbuilderX is compatible too. I saw a link to it here http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php?88098-Release-SbuilderX-64bit-for-FSX-P3D. I use Blender, Sketchup...

FSX ADE 1.65 Win 10 no effect to compiling

I'm wondering if it's related to permissions. I know that you already said that you allowed permission(Run As Administrator) but ever since I switched over to windows 10, no matter what I do, I could not save anything in the Program Files folder. Here's a test that you can do to see if your...

FSX ADE 1.65 Win 10 no effect to compiling

Hello Alex and welcome. Since I'm kind of a beginner myself, I probably won't be much help to you. Sounds just like the same problem I'm having, if I'm interpreting your question correctly. So I will be watching this thread closely Are you opening your bgl from File > Open Stock Airport, or...
