3dsmax render problem with new building

Hi,
I've got a problem with the new building in my project KLIA2.
I start making new terminal building with a new texture when I render, the new building became dull, gray not the same as the old building that I just made. I use the same texture by copy the material and change the name and change the texture sheet. There is no other object that obstruct the sky light. I render it with Daylight and default Scanline render. When I try the new building with the old material, It become bright as it should. But when I used the new texture, it become dull as the picture below. What could be the source of this problem. I have checked every setting and both materials are the same. The specular power is the same in both material.

This is before render.

This is after I render with Daylight and Radiosity.

Hi, Tic

Are you sure there are no other lights in the scene?

Check the multiplier as well, I use 1.2 on that. Are you using the skylight?

I use Daylight, the last tab on Max on the right panel "System" and the last button on the list "Daylight". I don't think it is the problem of light setting since the old building is there and it is correctly rendered.

I see, I looked into this and my problem is the opposite, everything is pure white unless a shadow has been drawn on.

Do you have a self-illumination texture applied?

it's curious that the left building in the second rendering are rendered the same that in the first redering. must be a material problem

Tejal Bernardo, you are right about the material problem. I have put out the self illuminated texture and it is fine. When I put it back, the problem is the same. Even I use Ambient Texture in the scene.

Not just rendering purpose but for exporting too. When I want to export I'll simply put it back.

If you are doing ambient occlusion maps you will get a much darker shadow if your environment color is black. if you make the environment background pure white you will get a much better render for the AO map.
