• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

A case where v.1.4 may be less superior?

I'm not aware of any tool other than ADE that allows a person to get a complete look at an FSX airport. That is to "see" all of the parking spots, taxiways, etc. etc. So, I have been using ADE to assist in my flight planning to decide what airports to fly to and which ones to stay away from.

Until I downloaded the new version this past week, I could open a stock airport, take a look to see if it was suitable for my needs and then immediately open another stock airport, (after responding that no I don't want to save it.)

However, with version 1.4, after I've finished looking at the first airport and go to open another, (sometimes it will allow a second but never a third,) I get an error message that says "unable to load" (then a list of files)

(I've attached a pertinent sample from the ChangeLog file so you can see what it's doing)

I realize that what I'm doing is beyond what ADE is designed to do, but it worked so well before and now it doesn't. Any suggestions?

Thanks for your help

I see this kind of thing also with v 1.4. I can open 3 or 4 airports in a row no problem, then on the next one there will be a "Failed to Load" error. Does't really bother me because I don't use ADE that way, but I have often wondered why You don't have a "Close Airport" option. I would think that would make changeing airports better.
