• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Very early this morning he departed on his eternal flight. His passing was peaceful and without pain.

So sorry to here Robert. I know how close you two were, and will continue to be.

I still find so many moments when I wish to say, or to have said, to my late father. And somehow, I feel that in some way, I can still say those things. And maybe, perhaps through the realms of eternal bliss and glory, he does bend his ear and take note. I'm sure your father would too.

Blessings,
- Joseph

My condolences Robert, I'm sure you must miss him but it's a comfort to remember how close you were.

My sincere condolences Robert.... May your fathers Spirit fly forever and guide you (too) on your own life's flightpath.

This is sad news Robert, and I too would like to express my sincere condolences to you and your family.

Even with God's healing touches throughout our lives, we all have to board that final flight eventually, hopefully with many delays and cancellations which give us ample time to say goodbye.

May your Dad enjoy blue skies and tail winds during his eternal flight.

Sad news. Remember the good times. In those he will always be with you.

My humble condolences, Robert. Man... He fought hard on that battle. He lived a full life.

I know he meant much to you and that he effected your world immensely. I know he will be well missed.

May he now be walking with great Angels and taking in wonderful peace.

Having known the depth of pain engendered by the loss of any loved one, especially a mother or father, I can only send my deepest condolences, as well as my prayers for the remaining family.

So very sorry for your loss, Robert. I had read some of your previous updates and thought that things were looking better regarding his health but this stuff can be very unpredictable.

I pray the good Lord gives you (and the rest of your family) strength and remember, your dad gets to do what he loves, in peace, for far longer than any of us can in our time here on Earth. Hopefully that thought provides a little bit of comfort, even though it can be really hard to find at first. Losing parents is the worst because we're only given one pair.

Thanks to all. The thoughts are greatly appreciated. One of his big past times was model building. Old school wood & tissue (or mylar). That collection is starting to migrate to my inner sanctum.

Wow Robert,
That's some nice modeling, and its not easy to do either.
Precious family heirlooms those.

Take care buddy.

I just saw this and I am sorry to hear of your father's passing. My thoughts are with you and your family at this time

My sincere condolences to you Robert. I know what it's like to lose a loved one as I've lost my grandfathers (1981 and 2005), my stepdad (1991), my younger sister (2011), my grandmother (2013) and numerous friends throughout the years. Be strong, at least he is in a better place with no more pain or suffering.

Sorry for your loss! Our prayers go out to you and your family. You have many wonderful memories to treasure.
