• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Hello fellow developers,

my Colombo VCBI freeware project nears completition, but I lack some skills and the time to implement the finishing touch myself.

In order to be able to give this airport to the masses as soon as possible, I want to offer a little pocket money (not much - remember, its freeware) to anyone who would like to jump in and do a quick and dirty job on:

-> Apron night lighting (shouldn't be too much efforts for any developer who has a finished model with lighting ready, hmm?) Doesn't need to be fancy at all, it should just be there and not "ugly" :))

-> (optional) 3D vegetation: maybe you have some models ready and would like to help me out with some easy-on-performance 3D vegetation? I would love to hear from you!

-> (very optional) Are you experienced with SODE and think you are able to pimp my airport with sode jetways? In a reasonable work time? As my modeling skills dont go further than SketchUp goes, your help would bring this project to the next level, and be very much appreciated not only by me but by the community (hopefully) :D Let me know if you'd like to invest some time for me :))

As said before, I cant pay you a "full wage" for developing for me, but this is an easy freeware project that is nearly finished (everything important is there, except for the nightlighting, so a solution to this is the only thing that stands between VCBI and an initial release). Just let me know how much you would expect for a little help on these issues and we can find a solution :D
