• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Adding AI to an NEW airport I made on A.D.E

Hello All,

After spending possibly 50hrs on A.D.E (fabulous program and easy) making a brand new fictional airport I have been searching for a way to bring A.I to it's 22 gates and 30 parking bays. I have watched as many tutorials as I can find about A.I but have not found any tutorial for an addon or the sdk to bring AI to an airport that is not is FSX's original airport list.

I have acceleration and the acceleration sdk.
I was using MYTraffic 2010 with it as well as the Orbx Traffic for Australia/NZ.
I uninstalled both and tried to get FSX to put its own AI and that hasn't worked either.

If it's simply a case of updating an AI Airport directory, could you please contain in the answer the locality of this file in either the FSX or SDK directory, because I've tried everything that I can find including the hidden files to no avail.

Once you actívate the airport bgl file just placing it in the scenery folder you should be able to créate flight plans (with AI Flight Planner) and add ai traffic for that airport. sorry if I no understood the question, my englis is not good enough
I've created Heliports that not existed in Fsx and added Ai traffic, no problem at all.

Rod, once your new airport is active in your scenery folder, you can either do Collect Airports in AIFP with the Add-on airports feature enabled or simply enter the data for your new airport using AIFP's Airport Editor.

Then, confirming what Tejal says, flight plan as usual.

Don, the issue was Collect Airports process. That's all I needed. 75 new AI routes and counting!
