• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

ADE Home Version 1.01 is available

I am getting the same error message as John, when clicking on the ADE update.
It also says I have the latest version of jmCommonlib.
So it looks like I need an updated version of, FsSceneryLib.
And, I also need, the update for ADE, which both links are there. Below the link for the update, adeh 102.zip,
it says, also requires updated jmSDELib.dll.
Just tried again for the first update, and get the error message.
I will keep trying, or, someone could send those to me by email.

John's problem and maybe others with a similar one is that the firewall is not set up to allow communication with ADE. Your firewall may be blocking it.

Possibly so, but the only firewall I have on, on the pc that I am using for flight sim would be in my router. I wonder if there is an IP for the ADE updater, or whatever it is called, I forget now, that one could allow that IP in the router settings?
EDIT: No. The only option is enable or disable. I might just test that and see what happens.

Hear in the USA some routers block by default certain sites. One popular Company in Maryland has been a thorn for some Users that can't get to FSInsider from within the FSX startup menu. Hope you are not in Maryland using %*%$__)(#@

It is up to the phone company (to be notified) that carries the line link to unblock on their end and not at your end. That is even if you tell the software to keep your end open.

Nope, not in Maryland. I can't test my theory anyway because now it says i have all the files. Thanks.
But now I'm getting another error message when selcting an airport. I will look around the site first, then get back to you.
