• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Hi,
I'm trying to compile an airport and this is what I had.
I even tried to change Source Path but I didn't get any luck.
The picture tells you it must be better.
Can I get any help from your side?
Thanks.
My regards,
Mario Viegas

It is saying it can't find the DETA Rapide model file you have placed at this airport. I have no idea, but some guesses.

Is there a DETA rapide.mdl file in that location?

Your path is longer than 64 characters, perhaps that's a limit?

Are there any other errors listed in the box behind this one?

Hi Tom.
Thanks for trying to give me your help.
I have deleted that model from that airport, trying to solve the situation;
Yes, the DETA rapide.mdl still in that location;
No, there are no other errors in the box.

After several attempts, I removed the errors showed above, the bottom left button is green.
However, I'm still not compiling the airport. It looks the problem is now on xml.
How can fix this? Any tip or any help?
Thanks,
Mario

It's saying the plane is still there. If you can't find it at the airport, look in Tools/Raw Data View (requires the free ProKey DLL file), find it, and delete it.

Hi Tom,
Thank you for your help.
I've solved the problem: open the airport in AFCAD, save it, delete it from ADE and them import it as BGL.
Now, everything is running normal.
Once again, thank you.
Mario

As long as you didn't need anything not supported by AFCAD, that is an easy way to do it. :)
