• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.

    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

My ADE 1.70.6042 (PRO): - [Ver.00.00.6225] won't to start. When i give my PROKey it was an act up to 20 minutes.
The Program loaded but when it's opened nothing happend. I installed the Program as Admin WIN7 .What can i do ?

  • Some features that contact the Internet are turned on by default to make Windows 7 work better. You can choose to disable these features. To learn more about these features, see the Windows 7 Privacy Statement.
It appears as if you have chosen to disable features. This will prevent software that conducts automatic updates from functioning and I don't know if disabling updates would allow you to retain your security state, but it certainly will prevent to software from updating. You would probably need to familiarize yourself with your own operating system and review it's parameters in order to proceed.

I am pleased that it is now working. The log does tell me that it seems that you were trying to load a stock bgl file containing objects and that the file could not be found. The other thing is that ADE kept trying to connect to FSX but was taking many seconds on each try and that it must have failed each time. The very slow attempts to connect do show that ADE was not opening but there is nothing in the log to indicate why. It seems it might have been something external to ADE.

This is the bit of the log showing ADE trying to make a connection to the Sim and you can see how much time it took up
