Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:
- Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
- Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
- Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
- Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
- Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
- Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.
Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.
By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

C’est incroyable !! Ca ne fonctionne pas chez moi
dès que je lance LFKB aéroport, j’obtiens cette erreur :
Le chemin d’accès au contenu me semble être correctement indiqué
Que pensez-vous qu’il se passe ? Pourquoi cela ne fonctionne-t-il pas ?

Hello Yves! I opened ADE F2020, went to Options and Folders.
Instead of only pointing to C:\MSFS2020\Microsoft Flight Simulator, you should point to C:\MSFS2020\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Official\OneStore
You save everything, and you must have everything good !
ADE F2020 must have access to Official\OneStore to be able to have the list of Stock airports.
If you don't tell it the exact path to C:\MSFS2020\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Official\OneStore it won't find it by itself.

J’ai pointé le chemin de MSFS comme ceci
C :\Users\HOME\AppData\Local\MSFSPackages\Official\OneStore
ça rien donné, ADE ne trouve pas l’aéroport, il s’affiche toujours la même erreur
Je suis désespéré je n’arrive pas à maitriser ce logiciel
quand je clique sur « create project from stock » j’ai ce tableau qui s’affiche
C’est pratiquement tout en grisé, As tu la meme figure ?

Hello Yves! There is a misunderstanding of the path on your part!
In ADE, go to Settings > Options > Folders. You have a button called “Search”. You click on it and it automatically finds the paths for you.
Configurations: must have C:\Users\HOME\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\
Content must have C:\MSFS2020\Microsoft Flight Simulator
SDK: SDK C:\MSFS
You opened Create Project from Stock and this page (popup) appears.
IDENT: LFKB > Check!
You fill in the fields like me, and you should be fine!
You must complete all fields to be able to validate the project
If despite everything ADE still tells you that it cannot find LFKB, 1°) you close ADE 2°) You fly in MSFS from LFKB 3°) you close MSFS 4°) you open ADE 5°) You resume the manipulation from “Create a project from stock”.

I know how to reproduce this error so I can help you mate
1 Close ADE.
2 Go to root ADE folder -> F20
3 With notepad or notepad++ open file named Settings.ini
4 Scroll down and under [PATHS] edit line FsPath=
add path to folder named fs-base-genericairports
for example
FsPath=M:\MSFS 2020\Official\OneStore\fs-base-genericairports
Save changes - click File > save - file > exit.
Restart PC.
5 Open ADE
6 Click file > create project from stock
// for example
7 IDENT > LFKB
Click check
8 Project name: LFKB_STOCK_TEST
9 Click go
10 Click save
11 Click OK
Be patient ...

My path setting is: FsPath=D:\MSFS\Official\Steam\fs-base-genericairports You might need the full drive path.
Hello dear community,
I'm posting here because I also have a configuration problem and now have no idea what's wrong.
However, I would like to add that it works perfectly for me and for three friends of mine to whom I have passed on the HF5 version. There we adjusted the paths in the settings.ini before starting the app for the first time and everything works perfectly.
With friend #4 we always get this error message despite correctly adjusted paths.
My questions about this:
(1) is a Windows component missing here so that the app runs or
(2) is the problem that the sim (DVD version) is in the default path under C:\ while the Official\OneStore folder is on F:\?
I have to add that the error message points to a folder XML wich exists. Also no misspelling involved, all path hab´ve been copied & pasted from an explorer window.
I may not be recognising a fundamental problem here, so any help would be appreciated.
