• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

FS2004 AI approaches @ CYTZ

I don't know of a way to specify that, unless they are VFR and doing touch and gos at the same airport.

Like Tom says we do not have control over the turn after takeoff if the plane is departing the area.

The turn right or left is based on the direction the next airport is located in the flightplan. You can add a 1st airport to your flightplan that is in the direction you want the plane to turn. You then set up a flyby and then the plane proceeds to its flightplan airport.

I use airports that are withinn 5-10 NM as my 1st airport (in FP) so the turn on departure heads in the right direction I want.

Ok, thank you for the response.
in real life, aircrafts dont turn rigth from rw26 and left from rw8 to avoid obstacles (bldg towers).

Hello, Jim:

Can you send me a link to your active ILS Series of
airports or Approach files that you have written. I am looking for the latest approaches for CYTZ and CYYZ.
I am looking for Nav databse I can download and place in Fs2004 and FSX for AI aircrafts to follow.
Thanks again.

Hello,
I have attached CYTZ approaches and ILS plates for RWY-08 and RWY-026.
The ADE format file is my failed attempt at creating CYTZ approaches for AI aircrafts. I hope you can correct and or adjust to make it work in FS2004. I also want AI aircrafts to turn left after taking off from RW 026 and right after taking off from RWY08. Thank you.

Hello all:
I am trying to create a 'no circling area' for ai aircrafts at CYTZ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Billy_Bishop_Toronto_City_Airport). I want to prevent ai aircrafts from turning left, after take off from rw 8 and from turning right after take off from rw 26.

How can i do that? if possible.

Thank you for your attention,
fl220

Hello fl220
