• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

I am new to FS2004 and tried to download the last version the download was forbidden.
So I tried to use the AIFP3411.zip file from my FSX PC but it doesn`t work.
At the attachment I put the ERROR message.
Can somebody help
AIFP_error.jpg

3.4.3.15 ist the last version.
You get it here: https://www.owlsnest.eu/donuser.php

But you have to change the .ini, to avoid a search for a new version at a dead link because Don Grovestine has passed some years ago.

No Automatic Updates=True
Development Updates=False

Thank you, but the same Error message comes again.
Where is the AIFP normally installed? In FSX -and I tried it in FS9 also - I installed it at C: Flight Simulator 9.1/Addo Scenery/Traffic/AIFP
It works in FSX without problem.

Christian

Hello Christian, unless it is expressly indicated in guides it is best to install addons into their own directory and not into the FS root or sub directories as they may interfere with normal opeartion of the sim and vice-versa. My AIFP is installed to its own directory under C:\Program Files (x86)\. Its a great, powerful program for setting up your AI flights 👍🙂.

Cheers,
Andrew

As a rule, I would avoid installing FS utility programs into any program files folder to avoid possible permission issues. I install into a C:/FS folder.
