• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

FS2004 Airbus H225/H225M

Looking really good bro. If you need help with the blurred rotors, let me know.
Thanks bro. Actually I'm having troubles with the gauge logic as usual. Gauges and me messing up with them doesn't work well; we just don't like each other very much :rotfl:

It is not about you Sergio. Its is all the serious lack of good and well-documented getting-started examples to get and keep going in this area of flightsim-development.

Good evening, first I would like to congratulate you for the great work. Do you sell the aircraft? I would like to know how I can download to play on fsx. thanks !

Not dead yet...

For any strange reason, at some in the past, without even remember when and why, I "misplaced" a backup of the H225 in a memory stick...
Very good news though, George already have the model and when he have the time... fill the blanks!

Let's hope that mother nature keep all sudden thunderstorms away; now, I have at least three backups in diffent places. That backup is an earlier version and several details were lost for good (actually, not that much).
In short, we will be back on track as soon as we can.

With no further ado, I will leave you with two snapshots of the latest export into the mesozoic sim (aka FS9):

Thanks for the nth time you hear my rants and losses...

All the best,
Sergio Kauffman.

Very nice to hear, that you guys are back on track… sounds promising that you had a backup. Hopefully all the other models were reborn as well. Such as the Bell 429.

Love your works men… stay safe and keep your files backed up and alive. You're all doing tremendous work there. Thanks a ton for the updates. I'll follow up the progression.

Thanks to Sergio for the files. I plan on doing the conversion to FSX and P3D, XP11/12 and FS2020 can be covered by others wishing to do the conversion. I even have someone interested in doing the conversion for DCS, bit I'll have to run this by Sergio for permission. No timeframe on my part as I have other models to finish or release, I have 2 kids to tend to and real life work, but it's planned.

Hello everyone

A quick update; I've been tweaking things in several "departments":
  1. The MFD has a basic implementation of Moving Map and Flight Plan pages with "touch screen" features (which could potentially be animated as soft keys on the VC).
  2. The PFD has crude version of a speed vector trend... Kinda "nasty" version, because I haven't figure out how to provide the proper data to the gauge animation; however, now is there...
  3. The basic Warning Panel layout...
  4. Began the animations... Flight controls (check!), light switches and autopilot knobs are working now.
  5. The main rotor is articulated, animated and having the "usual" visual charms. Now, it reflects the "load" on the blades and all rods and other hardware are properly linked as well.
  6. Also, I am working my way to make the VC more interesting with some ambient sounds... including effects for knobs, buttons, air conditioning system and... who knows what else could be "alive" inside the VC?.
A few snapshots:

Hello Gents

A small update:
  1. The VC has now all Collins Radios operational.
  2. Fuel system readings working (having trouble understanding how on earth a fuel transfer system works...).
  3. Advisory System for doors and compartments.
At least I know how fuel she has left... :duck:

All radios, are working independently and I am having some ideas on how to improve them as well. For now, they are tunnable and have simple functions (on/off, frequency swap -where applies- and click sounds on switches, knobs and push buttons).

Greetings and thanks.
Sergio.

Howdy chaps

Between sessions, I made a livery for the H225 (formerly know as Eurocopter EC-225LP Super Puma Mk2+ I believe...)

Not very happy with the splines... but that's a starter. On the other hand, there are a ton of decals on the sponsons which I simply can't find pictures -good enough- to make sense of them:

So, if some kind soul can point me in the right direction to find out how those decals look like, certainly would be much appreciated.

Thank you,
S. Kauffman.

Hello everyone

I finally got the missing decals on the sponsons... well, kinda. They were blurred from a photo, but at least they are already there... :scratchch

I have a couple more images. The Long range variant for offshore operations:

The external fuel tanks still are a WIP; but for some reason, I like them already. All hoses and extra hardware is not there yet...

I hope you like them.
Cheers!

Another simple livery, this time Global Helicopter Service GmbH

As a side note, all of the civilian liveries shown so far are the closest I could get using military variants of the airframe. Many details differ between the civilian and military variants.
At least, the repaints are already there; not the same for the miriad of other details in the civilian versions -which are not modeled yet. We'll see about that...

Enjoy,
Sergio.:scratchch
