• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

P3D v2 Alouette 3

just for the sake of posting a preview

What a wonderful bird! It just keeps getting better and better. The Alouette III is the ultimate helicopter. Thank you so much for the preview post.

I wonder what your reaction might be about the vc, i am loving it even in this incomplete form, and yes this is one beautiful looking heli

The model is outstanding, altough I find the Alouette a real ugly helicopter. The engine on the outside, als kinds of bits and pieces on the fuselage, nope not my cup of tea. But this is a perfect example of function above form, because this is one of the most versatile helicopters in existence!

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Having flown many hundreds of hours on this bird I can tell you it was a sheer pleasure to see it operate in high altitude mountainous extremes. One ride at high altitude would make you fall in love!!!

I love the work you have done on the VC! Your depiction of the gauges are very realistic! Keep up the good work!

Here's just the front panel, sorry about the few missing textures but I just wanted to give an idea of what its gonna look like. The trip comp on the collins collective pitch indicator is operable so you can calculate the maximum pitch for that particular day of flying but in FS this is uselss as far as I know .....

the flight panel and gauges are looking great! You have a choice to also make the finish look well used or aged or factory fresh. Your work is such fun to watch!!!!

Thanks, I'll maybe buy the 29palms configurator for making such things optional. I wonder if it can be used for the aircraft as well????

You don't need a complex configurator. As changing between factory fresh and weathered cockpits only involves changing out a few textures, the only thing you need is a small batch file. Or a bit of manual copy-paste. Or a separate texture folder with a bit of texture.cfg magic.

Hey guys, here's an opportunity for you regarding creation of a scenery.

I am planning on adding a few helipads/heliports along with the package, if you have any in mind, please send me the details through PM. Out of those i will select and will try to create them as realistic as possible. please use name of the place and use A3 PAD as a suffix in subject of your pm. Good luck

Btw i love grassy/confined forest helipads....

Question, I'm painting using the paintkit but I need to know the font you used for the black text markings on the aft side of the fuselage. I think it is the serial number because it all starts with SA (doesn't matter which operator or airforce)
