• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

MSFS20 Alpha_15_Release

Hi. I know Jon will come back to you on this, but sofar Medium would be OK for A320 (you can also set wingspan/diamater/radius for the gates and parkings in properties). And you don't have to worry about the open taxiways and so on. MSFS doesn't seem to mind, ADE/MSFS SDK compiles the airport scenery with all these open links and nodes.

Thanks that's good to know. I just have to keep working with it. One more question should the taxiways from the runways be in blue using the the taxi link? I see that all green using the taxi apron link is used on taxi paths from the runways with some stock airports I have looking at. Perhaps it doesn't matter since the sim seems to have no problem with it.

Gate sizes are in meters and I think represent wingspan but I am not sure - someone else will need to confirm I would ignore the fault finder for now. It is generating false errors since it relates to FSX/P3D airports and not MSFS. If you have a problem with a project not building then generally we ask that you provide the backup so we can check it From the main menu Project > Backup

Thanks I have trying to work on KDCA but it's not being friendly when it comes compiling. I tried deleting and reinstalling ADE alpha 15 but made no difference. Perhaps directory paths are incorrect? I posted some screen shots. Also when you open the project it made a bunch of erroneous apron taxi links from the gates I edited. Totally weird. Thanks so much for your help
