• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

basic steps for a noob

You are making far too much from my simple statement, which concerns itself with one -and only one- person: me...

I signed an NDA with MS that prohibits me from making public any information I may have learned with regards to MS's plans for the future. I also had previously signed an NDA that prohibits me from disclosing anything I may have learned while a beta tester. I have actually signed several other NDAs covering some other ventures within the MS umbrella.

The simple fact is that were I to break any of those NDAs, it is highly unlikely that I'd ever be invited to participate in any future opportunities with MS...

...something that I'm unwilling to risk.

More to the point, my fellow developers would very likely never trust me to maintain any of their confidences, having proven that I'm a blabber-mouth... :yikes:

haha...I liked the screaming face.. LOL That made me laugh. I totally understand where you are coming from as one that signed them. My points were to a more wide audience than just you. Only because I have seen other people mention things on here but didn't comment on them at that time. So I put it all in my last post.

One last thing.. again, my original post on saying I wish someone would get the info...again, that was geared at anyone reading these posts that has an in with MS. I don't want people doing anything they don't think they should do.

If I knew someone there (MS/ACES), I would be doing everything I could to get to whomever I needed to get to to personally make my plea for info because the community that gives them endless support, money, etc... really has a right to know things. And maybe I am just wrong, but yes, I believe they DO owe it to their customers to let them know what their future plans are regarding THIS software. Not future things that have nothing to do with FS. I want to know, plain and simple...are they going to fix the problems in FSX or are they not. It's a simple question, and I don't get why it is so hard to get a yes or no answer to it.

Guys

We are getting horribly off topic here and into an area that we have covered before. The original poster wanted help in working with FS.

Thanks
