• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

P3D v4 Belgium Photoreal - Version 2

Oh yes - even if I am too busy at moment (in life and with my air bases...) to get focused on all your gems, I am completely positive about your work will change my P3Dv4 anytime soon. Great work, Matthias!

Of course I’m very excited about this, but I was wondering how V2 is improved over v1? I already love v1, it seems hard to improve over it!

Oh, there are quite a lot improvements...
- new photoscenery, now 4 times higher resolution
- less visible color transitions
- Slightly better watermasking - but I doubt that this is recognisable
- Completely recreated autogen so more better displayed buildings - especially row houses

Hello Matthias, your scenery looks awesome !!!
Is it already available on the market somewhere ? Or is there any contribution i can bring to obtain it, somehow ?
Thanks !

Hi guys!

Some of you might remember this project...
As announced elsewhere, I started working on it again and created a new version. Version 2.
Meanwhile there are already the first pictures:

Hello,

Where can I donwload this?
Either V1 or V2, it doesn't really matter, it looks too good for it not to be in my sim!

Nice job Matthias, where can I download Belgium v2?
I am working on EBFS Florennes, a large military base in Belgium.
I would like to see if my scenery fits into your photo background.
Grtz

Hi Matthias,
could you send me the download link from belgium please?
Great job!
Peter

Hi Matthias,
Thanks for the link.
In the meantime I have installed everything and it is nice work what you have done.
My EBFS Florennes scenery fits nicely in it.
But, and this is my personal taste, is there any way I can make the colors a little less intense?
grtz
Peter from Tsonjingboldog/Mongolia

Hi Peter!

Colouring is probably one of the most difficult things to do when creating photosceneries.
I have tried to represent the average colours as natural as possible, using my own photos, drone shots and my own impressions of flights as colour references.
However, some of the source data was taken at different times of the year, which is why the colour impressions are different.
This is also almost impossible to correct automatically, and correcting the whole thing manually is extremely time-consuming, which is why I didn't do it.
