Hey Guys!!!

I just downloaded FSX-P. I ran into a problem when attempting to compile a bgl file. I get this message.

ERROR: Unable to find BglComp.exe
The specified folder is:
C:\Program Files

Please make sure this is correct.

Obviously i need to change the folder. but i dont know where to send it. I am using windows XP. PLEASE HELP!!!

Do you have the FSX SDK installed? You need to point to the Bgl Compiler SDK Folder

Mine is located at:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X SDK\SDK\Environment Kit\BGL Compiler SDK\

of course yours may be slightly different

so it's in disk 1? I have the Deluxe version. But i don't have the SDK Files.

On Disk 1 there is a folder called SDK. In that an executable called setup.exe - I think you will find that is what you need :)

However, As Lance says you then need to update it from FSInsider.com because the original SDK had bugs. You must install the original first because otherwise you will not be able to update it from FSInsider.com

ok cool. I am currently re-installing FSX. Some glitch happened where i couldn't play multilayer anymore, it wouldn't even show the multilayer link on the game screen. CRAZY@@@

ok i attempted an install. During the install i received a notice stating that 1628: failed to complete installation

No Multiplayer

ok i know this doesnt have to do anything about your question but when you dont have the multiplayer option on the menu of FSX its because it's pretty much saying you didnt register your copy of FSX and if you did register your copy and it says this sadly you have to reinstall FSX
