• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Hello!
With this patch it's a big update of 15GB, but here are a lot of problems arise with multiple crashes, I am launching this post because many simors are complaining, so I am also in this case.
The simulator becomes unplayable with these mandatory updates, I don't know if it's only in my country (France) or it is reflected in several countries.
This bug would come from Bing data. Provide us with information about this problem.
It was advised to uninstall the Bing data, I have not tried yet because I am updating for the second time.
I'll keep you informed.

Avec ce patch c'est une grosse mise à jour de 15Go, mais voilà beaucoup de soucis voient le jour avec de multiples plantages, je lance se post car de nombreux simeurs se plaignent, je suis donc aussi dans ce cas.
Le simulateur devient injouable avec ces mises à jour obligatoires, je ne sait pas si c'est uniquement dans mon pays (la France) ou cela se répercute dans plusieurs pays.
Ce bug proviendrait des données Bing. Faites nous remonter les informations concernant ce problème.
Il à été conseillé de désinstaller les données Bing, je n'ai pas encore essayé car je suis pour une seconde fois en cours de mise à jour.
Je vous tiens au courant.

Clearly there are some issues with the new patch Many of us have not had a first time update and have needed to try more than once.

However please bear in mind that this forum is about developing and extending the sim. There are other places where you can express your views on the overall effect of the update. If there are some negative aspects as far as the Developer Mode is concerned then they are valid subjects for here.
