• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Hi Jon,
I compile the airport today which normally there was no problem at all. Now there is a message:
Compiler Errors Found. These were not identified by the Issue Manager. Please let us know
what the compiler error is so that we can improve the Issue Manager.

The compiler message is shown below

I was wondering what is all about.
How can I fix this?
Thanks,
Tic

Hi Tic, The problem appears to be with the two lines radial = 131362 and radial = 4194664. The value has to be from 1 to 360. The two values that you have are much larger.

Ed

Thank Ed,
It is really strange. I found nothing about that in Approach Mode in ADE.
I think all the weird things happens from Win10 or not. I am thinking about formating my hard drive and get everything new.

Hi Tic
I fixed your file already. You need to change into approach mode (button on the right upper corner) and edit this approach including VKL. I can't remember exactly what I did, but it is in the approach mode of ADE. It's definitely not Windows 10.
Dan

Yes, I know it is not from Win10. But everything is weird. Normally it can be compiled but now it is not. I have searched through the Approach Mode already before and I found nothing about radial = 131362 and radial = 4194664 at all. Everything is fine under approach mode.

Tic load your project file into ADE. Switch to approach mode. Select lists and click on approaches, then click on VORDME RWY 14L. Now over on the right where the approach elements are listed go down to transition D290N and below that click on DmeArc. Now in the window at the lower right corner of the screen the header will say DmeArc. Make sure that it is expanded. Now on the line Radial Deg make sure that that number is between 1 and 360. Do the same for the next DmeArc line in the approach.
Ed

Yes, Ed. I did what you told a few days ago when you first posted on Friday. But I couldn't find nothing wrong with the number or Radial Deg at all. And it still could not compile. Until I deleleted the transition D290N out then ADE could compile as usual. I didn't take the screen shot but all the numbers in ADE were right. No value of radial = 131362 and radial = 4194664 at all. So, I think it was very weird. I thought something wrong with my Win10. It was error once and after that my 3dsmax cannot have p3d PBR material. I then have something wrong with ADE which I couldn't explain. My P3d cannot get to the menu by clicking. I need to use alt key and arrow to navigate through menu.
May be it is time for a fresh start.

I'm glad you can compile again. Sometimes weird things happen and we never really find the cause.
